I've got to strongly disagree with Chuck Norris on his opinion of Walter Cronkite's reporting. Cronkite's MIS-representation of the American position in Viet Nam after Tet was totally inaccurate. I've never spoken to anyone who was there who didn't see Tet as a sucker punch that the U.S. military recovered from and then issued a major ass-whooping to the NVA. Cronkite reported on how the war was lost and it was a complete defeat to the U.S.  ......moon |

I also stronlgly disagree with Norris about Cronkite's "objective and unbiased" reporting on Viet Nam, the Tet offensive and his opinion that we lost the war at that time. He was supposedly a journalist, not a commentator, and since so many Americans had come to think of him as "Uncle Walter", his BIASED reporting played a major role in what eventually took place.
